Preventive measures to ensure your visit is safe

GENERAL INFORMATION

The César Manrique Foundation Museums are open to the public, and have adopted new measures to meet the health and safety requirements of visitors owing to the current Covid-19 crisis.
In the light of the current pandemic, the César Manrique Foundation (FCM) is concerned for your safety. To avoid overcrowding, and in the interest of the safety of visitors and staff, the César Manrique Foundation museums have adopted measures regarding maximum capacity, hygiene, prevention, site conditions and the way visits are organized.
All facilities are duly disinfected as an ongoing measure, and are subject to cleanliness and hygiene conditions tailored to preventing the risk of contagion: disinfectant mats are available at the entrance to the museum; hydro-alcoholic gel dispensers are provided; and protective screens have been installed at visitor assistance points. All relevant information is available on our website and may be consulted on your mobile

VISITING RULES

Please, do not enter our museums if you have any symptoms compatible with Covid-19.
Visitors will be required to use facemasks at all César Manrique Foundation sites (the Volcano House, in Tahíche, and the Palm Grove House, in Haría), both inside and outside. Children, who must go hand-in-hand with an adult at all times, will also need to wear nose and mouth protection from the age of six (6). If you do not have your own facemask, you can purchase one from the museum ticket office. Wherever possible, make sure to keep a safe distance from other visitors on the tour (at least 1.50m). Avoid visiting in groups of more than four (4) people, other than in cases of family units or people who cohabit. In those cases, attempt to keep to your group.
Respect the maximum capacity of the rooms, and the marked tours, avoid touching surfaces and remember to use the hydrogel provided at the entrance and exit. If you cough, please cover your mouth with your forearm.
Pay attention to the instructions of Museum staff at all times. They are there to help you and to make your visit, and that of other visitors, safer.
Social distancing recommendations and preventive measures must be respected in the museum.
To avoid overcrowding, and on hygiene/healthcare grounds, when circumstances so require the César Manrique Foundation may control visitor inflow as it sees fit, and as such it may occasionally be necessary to wait or be allocated visiting times in small groups.
Thank-you for your understanding.
